Reporting on September 20, Zhidx announced that today, AI (Artificial Intelligence) infrastructure enterprise SiliconFlow has successfully completed its Series B+ Phase II and Series C funding rounds, with investors including the China Internet Investment Fund, China Reform Fund Management, and China Mobile Chain Leader Fund. To date, the company's cumulative funding for the year 2026 has reached nearly CNY 2.9 billion. According to SiliconFlow, the two newly disclosed funding rounds will focus on increasing R&D investment in core technologies such as inference engines, heterogeneous computing power scheduling, and model and chip adaptation, strengthening the construction of the Token supply platform, and accelerating global market expansion. Since March 2024, SiliconFlow has completed 8 pre-IPO funding rounds. In June this year, SiliconFlow announced the completion of its Series B funding round of over CNY 2 billion. (Over CNY 2 Billion! In addition, on June 30, SiliconFlow submitted a listing application to the HKEX, planning to list on the Main Board of the HKEX under the rules for specialist technology companies in Chapter 18C, with Huatai International and Haitong International as joint sponsors. (China's Largest Independent Token Factory Launches HKEX IPO) Founded on August 29, 2023, and headquartered in Haidian, Beijing, SiliconFlow is a third-party "Token supplier". According to Frost & Sullivan, based on the annual Token throughput in 2025, SiliconFlow is China's largest independent ecosystem Token supplier, ranking among the top five among all Token suppliers in China.
Its founder and CEO, Yuan Jinhui, studied under Academician Zhang Bo, a pioneer of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in China, and obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering from the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University in July 2008. He also served as a Lead Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia before leaving in 2016 to start his own business.
Regarding products, in May 2024, SiliconFlow launched its MaaS platform, adopting a "Token factory" model centered on standardized, large-scale Token production and supply. As of April 30, 2026, the platform has over 10 million registered users. During the same period, in April this year, SiliconFlow launched a new generation of computing power scheduling engine, "Elastic GPU," which enables elastic scaling of diverse heterogeneous computing power and supports customers in efficiently deploying models in a self-service manner. Currently, SiliconFlow has built a fully self-developed Token production line, forming a product matrix consisting of serverless Token services, dedicated instances, and on-premises deployment solutions:
- Targeting developers and SMEs, it provides low-threshold, pay-as-you-go serverless Token services, flexibly adapting to lightweight usage scenarios;
- Targeting enterprise customers with high-performance and high-stability requirements, it provides dedicated instance services to ensure computing power reservation and stable output;
- Targeting large institutions and data security-sensitive scenarios, it provides on-premises deployment solutions, supporting the deployment of large model service platforms in customers' own data centers.
At the same time, its platform has also launched AI computing power joint operation services. Relying on a comprehensive computing power operation system, it helps various computing power resources quickly build stable Token service capabilities. As of June 21, 2026, the company has served over 13,000 enterprise customers, cumulatively supporting over 170 mainstream AI models, and adapting to more than 10 chips from manufacturers such as NVIDIA, Huawei Ascend, Muxi, and Moore Threads.
