On October 14, the global computing infrastructure event OCP Global Summit kicked off in San Jose, USA. The NVIDIA MGX AI Factory Ecosystem exhibition area showcased module exhibits from the first batch of Solid State Transformer (SST) ecosystem partners. Sungrow Power's AIDC business (Yangguang Yuanzhi) made its public debut as a NVIDIA ecosystem partner.
Subsequently, on the 15th, Sungrow Power's EnerNeo SST received system-level and critical component-level certification certificates from TÜV Laiyin at the OCP site. It became the world's first SST product to simultaneously pass the dual system-level certifications of European and American standards, taking the lead in meeting the substantive conditions for large-scale commercial deployment in the European and American data center markets.
Sungrow Power Makes Its Debut as a NVIDIA Ecosystem Partner for the First Time
The NVIDIA MGX AI Factory Ecosystem exhibition area can be described as the most indicative section of this OCP Summit. It sends a clear signal: the 800V DC power supply architecture has entered a critical stage from "proof of concept" to "engineering readiness".
A total of 7 companies showcased their products in the NVIDIA SST ecosystem exhibition area, namely Taida, Yangguang Yuanzhi (a subsidiary of Sungrow Power), Heron, DG Matrix, Lixun Jingmi, Maigemiite, and SolarEdge.
Among them, Sungrow Power (300274), as a typical representative of the leading solar and energy storage enterprise entering the SST field, made its public debut as a NVIDIA ecosystem partner for the first time.
At the site, Yangguang Yuanzhi showcased the core components of the EnerNeo Solid State Transformer (SST), covering medium-voltage and low-voltage power modules as well as high-frequency transformers. It is introduced that relying on silicon carbide high-frequency power electronics technology, the EnerNeo SST can directly convert 10kV-13.8kV medium-voltage AC into 800V DC, achieving a system efficiency of 98.5% and saving 50% of floor space. Its pioneering "medium and low voltage zoning + quick plug-and-pull" design brings system availability to 99.999%. It can be adapted to next-generation GPUs such as NVIDIA Vera Rubin and the native 800V DC AI Factory power supply architecture, and already possesses mature commercialization capabilities.
Looking at the above list of companies selected for the NVIDIA SST ecosystem partners, the 7 enterprises represent the main types of players in the current SST track: start-ups (Heron Power, DG Matrix), cross-boundary players (Lixun Jingmi, Maigemiite, SolarEdge), traditional power electronics (Taida), and energy power electronics enterprises (Sungrow Power).
Among these seven ecosystem partners, only Sungrow Power, relying on its fundamental solar and energy storage business, can cover the full-link architecture of AIDC "from source to chip".
First is technical capability. Relying on the accumulation of underlying power electronics technologies in inverters and energy storage PCS, Sungrow Power started the R&D of SST-related technology reserves as early as 11 years ago. It possesses engineering capabilities and system-level delivery experience in high-voltage and large-capacity scenarios, and its AIDC business team has an IDC industry background.
Second is the full-stack power supply system architecture from source to chip. Among these seven ecosystem partners, Taida's product solutions do not currently involve power supply side coordination; start-ups and cross-boundary players only focus on gray zone equipment and have not yet touched green zone dispatch. In contrast, Sungrow Power not only provides SST equipment but also offers a full-stack power supply system architecture "from source to chip". Supported by solar, wind, energy storage, electricity, and hydrogen, and integrating power electronics technology, it creates a comprehensive energy solution with computing-power and electricity coordination and multi-energy complementation.
Third is delivery capability. Relying on the SST production capacity of manufacturing bases in China, Thailand, India, and Poland, Sungrow Power achieves large-scale and localized agile delivery. At the same time, with rigorous testing and high-quality services and operations and maintenance covering the entire life cycle, it ensures the reliability of products from R&D to operation.
Currently, Sungrow Power's SST has secured multiple orders: in July, at the new SST product launch site, it signed framework procurement agreements with Dongyangguang and ZDATA Group. Dongyangguang ordered 3MW per unit, totaling 10 units for 30MW, expected to be delivered in batches from 2026 to 2027; ZDATA Group ordered an overall 100MW, to be advanced in phases from 2026 to 2028, with the first batch of 5MW delivered this year. In August, two 2.5MW EnerNeo SSTs from Sungrow Power were even delivered to a major new intelligent computing center project in China.
SST Becomes the World's First to Achieve Dual System-Level Certifications of "European Standards + American Standards"
At the OCP Summit site, Yangguang Yuanzhi's EnerNeo SST received system-level and critical component-level certification certificates issued by the world-renowned third-party testing and certification institution TÜV Laiyin, based on the UL, IEC, EN, and 2 PfG series standards. It became the world's first SST product to simultaneously pass the dual system-level certifications of European and American standards.
This means that the SST product meets the conditions for commercial insurance and operation, taking the lead in crossing the key threshold for large-scale commercial deployment in the European and American markets.
It is introduced that this certification was conducted on the whole SST machine. TÜV Laiyin strictly conducted a system-level evaluation of EnerNeo in accordance with safety standards such as UL 2877, IEC/EN 62477-1, IEC/EN 62477-2, and 2 PfG 3175, as well as EMC standards such as EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-4, and FCC Part 15. Ultimately, the EnerNeo product successfully obtained the TÜV Laiyin certification mark, cTUVus and EMC certificates, and corresponding test reports.
Currently, there are not many manufacturers in the industry that have truly obtained SST-related international certifications. According to incomplete statistics from Hangjia Shuo Chuneng, as of now, there are mainly 5 enterprises that have publicly disclosed obtaining relevant certifications for SST, including Yangguang Yuanzhi this time, Yidun, Weiguang Nengyuan, Xidian Dianli Dianzi, and an unnamed leading enterprise. In addition, according to the Taida US website, its microgrid architecture based on the SST platform has been verified, but there is no public report yet.
Previously, SST certifications were mostly limited to the module level rather than the system level, and concentrated in a single region or a single standard system. This time, Yangguang Yuanzhi not only completed the dual system-level certifications of European CE-EMC and American FCC standards, but its core component, the high-frequency isolation transformer, also passed the 2 PfG 3179 special standard certification. This achieves dual certifications of European and American standards, as well as the whole machine and core components, meaning that users can operate with commercial insurance, completing a key step in large-scale commercial deployment in the global market.
Summary by Hangjia Shuo Chuneng: The SST Track Competes on Full-Link Systematic Capabilities
At this OCP Summit, Sungrow Power's appearance in the NVIDIA Ecosystem exhibition area and the TÜV Laiyin system-level and critical component-level certification certificates not only secured an ecosystem pass to enter the ecosystem chain market of power infrastructure for next-generation AI data centers but also obtained a pass to promote SST commercialization in the European and American markets.
For the industry, on the one hand, it marks the formal integration of China's mature SST whole machine solutions into the world's top open ecosystem for AI computing power; on the other hand, it will also promote the construction of the SST whole machine standard system and accelerate the SST commercialization process.
This further confirms that the ultimate competition in the SST track is a contest of systematic capabilities, including the depth of scenario understanding, the accuracy of product definition, system-level certification capabilities, and capabilities from manufacturing and delivery to full life cycle services.
