The National Advanced Manufacturing Conference is the first national conference themed on advanced manufacturing. As the head of a manufacturing enterprise attending the conference on-site, I am deeply inspired and thrilled. Through earnestly studying the important instructions of the General Secretary and the spirit of the conference, we are profoundly enlightened and greatly encouraged. This has further strengthened our confidence in accelerating high-quality development and clarified our direction for moving forward.

The conference proposed to "optimize existing assets, renew and upgrade, expand new increments, and cultivate emerging industries." Hisense has a profound understanding of this. Over the past 57 years, Hisense has always focused on manufacturing, accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading. We have formed six core industries: smart home appliances, semiconductors, smart energy, lasers, automotive electronics, and content platforms, building an industrial depth that adapts to the era of AI (Artificial Intelligence).

In terms of traditional advantageous industries, relying on profound technological accumulation and the advantages of multi-brand and full-category coverage, Hisense's smart home appliance industry holds a leading position in the global market. Its products, quality, and brand influence have reached world-class levels, demonstrating increasingly vigorous competitiveness. In emerging and future industries, Hisense is deeply expanding into semiconductors, smart energy, automotive electronics, and other sectors to accelerate the building of new development advantages. Currently, Hisense is in a critical period of industrial renewal and upgrading. We will adhere to the parallel advancement of "optimizing existing assets" and "expanding new increments" to accelerate the formation of new drivers for high-quality development.

Hisense is deeply aware that the core of advanced manufacturing lies in the intelligent, green, and integrated transformation of the manufacturing industry. In recent years, Hisense has continuously promoted the all-around upgrading of the manufacturing system, taking "leading advanced manufacturing centered on intelligence" as an important corporate mission. We are comprehensively consolidating the foundation of lean manufacturing, iterating digital manufacturing capabilities, cultivating green manufacturing advantages, and expanding the integrated manufacturing ecosystem. We are making every effort to build world-class core competitiveness in intelligent manufacturing, promoting a deep leap in the enterprise's manufacturing model from traditional production and manufacturing to high-end, digital, low-carbon, and service-oriented operations.

Taking Digital and Intelligent Transformation as the Main Line, Reconstructing the Full-Chain Operation System, and Building Industry-Benchmark Smart Factories

With the construction of national-level pilot smart factories as the core focus, Hisense is comprehensively promoting the digital and intelligent reconstruction and upgrading of the entire business chain, including R&D, production, supply chain, quality, logistics, and services. Relying on cutting-edge technologies such as industrial AI (Artificial Intelligence), Industrial Internet, digital twins, and machine vision, Hisense has built a unified and integrated enterprise digital manufacturing foundation, breaking down data barriers across the entire process of R&D and design, flexible production, intelligent quality control, smart warehousing, order delivery, and smart services. Facing the accelerated reshaping of the industrial landscape by AI, Hisense officially released the "Hisense Quality Law" this year, further systematizing and institutionalizing the quality concepts and management practices accumulated over more than half a century. We take AI as an important tool for quality management, promoting the transformation of quality management from post-inspection to pre-prevention, and upgrading from empirical judgment to data-driven decision-making, injecting new momentum into the quality improvement and upgrading of Chinese manufacturing.

The Hisense Bosch Central Air Conditioning Excellent Smart Factory is a national smart manufacturing demonstration factory. We are promoting the large-scale and in-depth application of automation, intelligent, and digital technologies, implementing industry-first initiatives such as unmanned heat exchanger production, automated welding, automated training grounds, and dark warehouses. We have innovatively created more than 40 industry-advanced scenarios, among which over 20 technologies are industry firsts, driving a dual increase in manufacturing quality and efficiency. The Hisense Visual Technology Excellent Smart Factory has implemented more than 40 new-generation smart manufacturing technologies and deployed 25 self-developed first-set automated equipment, 11 of which are industry firsts. We have jointly connected the entire business chain from user insights, product definition, design, and manufacturing to delivery, rapidly responding to customer needs based on comprehensive AI capabilities.

Guided by the national and corporate smart manufacturing capability maturity standards, and adopting the mother factory model for replication and promotion across global factories, Hisense continues to forge world-class core competitiveness in smart manufacturing. Domestically, 30 factories have reached CMMM Level 3, 10 have reached CMMM Level 4, and 2 factories are undergoing CMMM Level 5 cultivation, with 3 excellent smart factories built. Relying on the Chinese smart manufacturing standard system to export mature solutions overseas, the Hisense Mexico Display Factory and the Hisense Vietnam Display Factory were awarded as the first batch of overseas smart factories by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

At the same time, Hisense actively takes on the responsibility of a chain leader. Relying on the information system, we connect internal business and extend it to upstream suppliers, driving suppliers to implement digital capabilities such as AI visual inspection and intelligent production scheduling. We promote collaborative quality improvement and transparent management in the supply chain, extending digital capabilities from Hisense factories to factories on the chain, and moving from internal efficiency improvement to an overall leap in the industrial chain.

Taking Green Manufacturing as the Base Color, Deepening Low-Carbon Circular Development, and Comprehensively Implementing the Dual Carbon Development Strategy

Hisense takes green and low-carbon development as the foundation for the high-quality development of manufacturing. We are deeply implementing the national "Dual Carbon" strategy, anchoring the corporate dual carbon goals of "carbon peaking by 2026 and carbon neutrality by 2050." We integrate the green concept throughout the entire process of low-carbon production, low-carbon products, and low-carbon industrial chains, continuously building benchmarks for green and zero-carbon manufacturing. We have built 20 national-level green factories, 4 zero-carbon factories, and 7 national-level green supply chain enterprises.

In terms of low-carbon production, we focus on energy efficiency improvement, clean energy application, and the construction of digital energy and carbon platforms. We promote low-carbon transformation through green intelligent manufacturing, reshaping the entire production process with digital technologies to achieve a synergistic increase in production efficiency and green benefits. Currently, we have achieved full coverage of the domestic energy and carbon platform and are accelerating its replication and promotion in overseas factories. Energy and carbon data are collected and monitored at the minute level, with intelligent analysis and refined management. In terms of low-carbon products, we adhere to the green design concept of the full life cycle, systematically increasing the proportion of recycled materials, bio-based materials, and environmentally friendly materials in our products. Currently, the proportion of home appliances with first and second-level energy efficiency exceeds 90%. We have led and participated in the formulation and revision of more than 150 green standards, guiding the low-carbon upgrading of the industry with technical standards.

In terms of the low-carbon industrial chain, we leverage the guiding role of the chain leader enterprise to extend carbon management to over a thousand core upstream suppliers. We have built a digital carbon management platform for the supply chain, guiding more than 200 suppliers to achieve online tracking of carbon emission data, assisting the green overseas expansion of Chinese manufacturing. We have established a comprehensive waste recycling and reuse mechanism, recycling over 4.3 million old home appliances in the past three years.

Expanding New Space through Integrated Development, Adhering to User-Centricity, and Cultivating a New Ecosystem of Manufacturing and Services

The boundaries of the manufacturing industry are being redefined by integration. Hisense adheres to integrated thinking to break the single production boundaries of traditional manufacturing, promoting the deep integration of advanced manufacturing with modern service industries and the digital economy. We are reshaping new models and new tracks for industrial development, thoroughly transforming the traditional single business model of "hardware sales." Based on our core advantages in high-end manufacturing, we take user experience and full-cycle services as our core globalization strategy. Through the deep integration of manufacturing and services, we accelerate the transformation and upgrading from "simply selling products" to "scenario-based solutions and full-cycle value-added services," continuously broadening the boundaries of industrial development and cultivating new growth poles for the high-quality development of the enterprise.

Manufacturing has made today's Hisense, and advanced manufacturing will undoubtedly support Hisense in going further into the future. Compared with the past technological evolution rhythm of "a decade for a cycle and five years for an iteration," today's technological development can be described as changing with each passing day.

The next 5 to 10 years will be a critical period for Hisense's iterative upgrading, transformation, and breakthrough. We will firmly seize the strategic opportunity of the country's vigorous development of advanced manufacturing, establishing a sense of crisis that "if we do not advance, we will fall behind," a sense of urgency that "time waits for no one," and a sense of responsibility that "who else but us." We will act quickly and take the initiative: first, focus on user needs to promote deep-level service model changes; second, focus on building advantageous industries and industrial advantages, accelerate the integration of key elements such as core technologies, products, channels, and talents, and seek key breakthroughs; third, resolutely implement the AI strategy in all aspects of industrial layout, product R&D, service upgrading, and efficiency improvement. Through this, we will achieve leapfrog industrial development, accelerate our stride towards world-class status, and make new contributions to the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry in future global competition.
