Financial Statistics of Major Listed Domestic Semiconductor Equipment Companies (2026-Q1)

by bandaotizongyan·July 30, 2026

Recently, I finally started learning how to use AI to help me collect and organize industry data: I installed an AI Agent and used a large language model API to automatically download, organize, and analyze the financial reports of listed companies.

Currently, this has indeed saved me a significant amount of working time. After a month of research and debugging, I can now have the AI Agent automatically download the financial data of all A-share listed companies, organize it into EXCEL documents, and perform calculations and analysis.

Although the charts still need to be designed and created by myself, once the data updates are automated, the charts can also be updated automatically. In this way, I can organize data for more target companies at once. Therefore, this time I first selected 11 representative semiconductor equipment companies (whose revenue comes entirely or mostly from semiconductor equipment business or related fields) for a unified analysis:

Note) Some semiconductor equipment companies are temporarily excluded because their revenue includes too much non-semiconductor equipment business income, which can easily affect the statistical results.

Below is the trend of the total revenue of the 11 companies. It is evident that there has been a continuous and rapid growth trend over the past decade.

In Q1 2026, the total revenue of the 11 companies reached RMB 20.7 billion (approximately USD 3.0 billion), a year-on-year increase of 28.1%. Meanwhile, the global semiconductor market size was approximately USD 36.6 billion in the same period (data source: SEMI). The revenue of the 11 domestic manufacturers accounted for about 8.2% - a significant increase compared to 7.0% in the same period last year.

The trend line below the table in the figure below is the normalized revenue development trend, which eliminates the impact of data from newly added companies. Later, I will use it as a standard reference to compare and measure the development speed of each company.

Along with the increase in revenue, the total gross profit of the 11 companies also changed year-on-year. Currently, the overall gross profit margin is basically maintained between 40% and 45%. As can be seen from the chart, the gross profit margin data in the second half of last year decreased slightly, but in Q1 this year, it has basically recovered to the average level (43.0%).

The chart below shows the total R&D expenses of the 11 companies, and the proportion of total R&D expenses to total revenue has basically been maintained at around 15% in the long term.

In terms of operating profit, the profit margin of the 11 suppliers has continued to grow since 2018, reaching a peak in 2022, followed by a slight decline, and is currently basically stable at around 20%.

Due to the large number of financial data tables for the 11 suppliers, I can only list the revenue trend charts for each company later. The detailed data and the original document of the tables in this article, "Financial Statistics of A-share Listed Companies", have been uploaded to the cloud drive of Zsxq (Knowledge Planet) for members to use. If you are interested in such data, you are welcome to join my Zsxq to obtain it -- detailed introduction and joining methods are at the end of the article.

NAURA Technology. The revenue of NAURA Technology accounts for about half of the total revenue of these 11 companies, so its representativeness is self-evident. However, despite its large size, its revenue growth trend since 2019 (the blue line in the lower half of the chart below) has consistently outpaced the overall growth rate (the gray area chart). In the subsequent charts of each company, you can also understand the relative speed of their growth through this comparison. It is very obvious from the charts of each company that the revenue growth rates of different manufacturers have varied greatly in recent years.
