CRP Expands National Layout: Official Opening of Its East China Operations Center in Suzhou Empowering Yangtze River Delta Smart Manufacturing

by MIRruigongye·May 20, 2026

As a core growth pole of China's robotics industry, the Yangtze River Delta has built an independent, controllable, and highly coordinated full-industry-chain ecosystem for robots, leveraging its well-established industrial synergy system, dense innovation resources, and rich intelligent manufacturing scenarios. Within the region, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui complement each other's strengths, covering robot R&D, core component manufacturing, complete machine integration, and diversified scenario applications. Meanwhile, it has attracted a large number of high-tech enterprises and intelligent manufacturing demands, making it a core highland for domestic robot technology iteration, scenario implementation, and industrial upgrading.

On May 18, 2026, CRP held the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of its East China Operations Center in Suzhou, targeting the core demands of the East China market and accelerating the refinement of its national regional strategic layout.

Founded in 2012, CRP is a veteran and formidable enterprise deeply engaged in the industrial robot welding sector in China. According to data from MIR DATABANK, in 2025, CRP ranked first among domestic brands in China's welding robot market (including arc welding, laser welding, and cutting robots). However, while rooted in welding, it goes beyond welding. In recent years, given the growth of the 3C electronics and automotive industries, CRP has leveraged its R&D advantages in welding robots to meet market needs, successively launching additional product series such as handling, grinding, and loading/unloading. Its product matrix is steadily expanding to meet the demands of customers across different industries, of various scales, and under diverse production conditions.

1. Deepening the East China Market and Comprehensively Upgrading Localized Service Capabilities

The Yangtze River Delta has always been one of the regions with the most concentrated manufacturing industry and the strongest intelligent manufacturing demands in China. Meanwhile, CRP's headquarters is located in Chengdu, with its core R&D and production base in the southwest. For a long time, many East China customers have faced a certain geographical barrier when seeking on-site inspections and face-to-face in-depth communication. Addressing this, CRP established the East China Operations Center in Suzhou to bridge the gap in localized services in the region.

This event brought together park leaders, industry partners, and dozens of premium regional customers. Through multiple sessions including the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guest speeches, exhibition hall tours, and industry symposiums, they jointly witnessed a new milestone in CRP's East China expansion.

Li Liangjun, General Manager of CRP, stated in his on-site speech that the East China region is one of the most active manufacturing areas in China, featuring the most complete industrial foundation and the most concentrated intelligent manufacturing demands. The relocation of CRP's East China Operations Center to a new site is a critical step for the company to deepen its regional layout and enhance its localized service capabilities. Leveraging the East China Operations Center, CRP will further strengthen its rapid response, technical support, and project service capabilities for regional customers, thereby better serving end-users, partners, distributors, and system integrators.

In addition to emphasizing the importance of the East China market, Ding Ning, Marketing Director of CRP, further noted that following the upgrade and launch of the East China Operations Center, CRP will further enhance its localized capabilities in product display, solution exchange, technical support, after-sales service, and customer training. The company will also continue to focus on customer needs to drive deep synergy among products, technology, services, and the market.

According to a CRP executive, the East China Operations Center is equipped with a brand-new physical exhibition hall. For customers and partners in the East China region, this will serve as a vital window to understand CRP up close, communicate face-to-face, and view product solutions on-site, allowing them to intuitively experience the company's technical strength and implementation results.

The entire exhibition hall is primarily divided into two major display areas: brand culture and product solutions. In the brand culture area, visitors can clearly see CRP's development history, corporate honors, core technology layout, and national market map. Meanwhile, the hall intuitively showcases the company's robust qualifications, including titles such as National-Level Specialized, Refined, Differential, and Innovative Key "Little Giant", National High-Tech Enterprise, and one of the first batch of AI (Artificial Intelligence) chain leader enterprises in Sichuan Province, along with hundreds of intellectual property rights and industry experience gained from participating in the compilation of multiple national robot standards.

During the opening event, attending customers and partner guests toured the exhibition hall together, observing the actual products up close and learning about tailored solutions. In the post-event symposium, they engaged in in-depth discussions on product implementation experience and industry application ideas, gaining an intuitive understanding of CRP's product deployment capabilities.

2. Deepening Technological Innovation and Consolidating the Core Strength of Robot Products

With years of deep engagement in the industrial robot industry, CRP has consistently focused on product technology iteration and process optimization. It is dedicated to refining robot products and supporting solutions tailored to multiple industries and scenarios, steadily advancing equipment stability, adaptability, and practicality. Leveraging long-term technological breakthroughs and in-depth scenario exploration, CRP has established differentiated competitive advantages in welding robots, industrial robot control systems, and embodied intelligent robots, aligning with the demands of various domestic industrial production and precision processing.

Stepping into the product exhibition area, visitors can see a centralized display of CRP's multiple flagship robots and complete workstation solutions. These include core products and solutions such as the Linghan robot, collaborative welding robot, laser cutting workstation, robot grinding workstation, and CMT welding solution, covering various industrial scenarios such as welding, cutting, and grinding.

Linghan Robot

As CRP's new-generation integrated and high-performance welding robot, the Linghan robot is one of the core featured products in the exhibition hall. Leveraging CRP's self-developed cold welding technology system, the Linghan robot focuses on low-heat-input welding processes and is highly adaptable to thin-plate welding scenarios. Equipped with corresponding dedicated welding power sources, the device offers strong process adaptability and can stably execute various processing tasks, including conventional and precision welding. It is widely applicable in mainstream welding scenarios such as automotive parts, hardware products, and general machinery.

Robot Laser Cutting Workstation

Designed for high-precision laser cutting operations under complex working conditions. The high-rigidity body ensures minimal vibration and higher trajectory accuracy during large-posture and large-corner operations, meeting strict process requirements such as small-circle cutting and complex contour cutting. Dedicated collision detection and protection functions effectively prevent positioning deviations after collisions. Enhanced heat dissipation and stability designs for high-temperature environments guarantee the equipment's long-term reliable operation.

Robot Grinding Workstation

Leveraging a high-rigidity body design and gear transmission structure, it features significantly enhanced overload capacity and impact resistance. Equipped with advanced control algorithms, it effortlessly handles speed and accuracy requirements during large posture changes. Furthermore, it is equipped with an E-type vertical teach pendant and offline programming software, which substantially reduces programming and debugging time.

Leveraging its self-developed technology system, CRP has refined over 70 robot products in addition to those mentioned above. These products are adaptable to various industrial production scenarios, ensuring stable, efficient, and reliable operation. Meanwhile, CRP is deeply involved in industry development, leading and participating in the compilation of multiple national standards for industrial robots, utilizing its technical accumulation to drive the standardized development of the industry.

3. Conclusion

The launch of the East China Operations Center marks a critical step in CRP's national expansion, effectively refining the service network in the region and enhancing local delivery capabilities and regional influence.
